Best Softball Season Ever

The Oneupweb “So Do It!” softball team aced its rivals this year with nine out of 10 upsets, winning first place in the league championship. Confident of emulating its outstanding search engine marketing success, the Oneupweb team met opponents with tenacious determination.

Bystanders could feel the swish, as Oneupweb President, Lisa Wehr took hold of the bat and hammered the opposition, delivering several in-field home runs for the team. “We all love the game. While we’re serious about competing, we have a blast playing as a team,” said Wehr. “Our company is built on strong relationships with one-another and our clients. Our on-field success is simply a reflection of that philosophy.”

As fellow team member and co-worker, Megan Dwyer said of her boss, “She can hit!” A lifetime rookie to softball, Megan proved a valuable teammate, quickly gaining ground on the skills of the game.

Oneupweb’s Tim Kauffold, nicknamed “Robocop” by teammates, left an indelible impression on his rivals with his somewhat intimidating “get-up!” Tim’s steely gaze penetrated and slowly crumbled his rivals’ resistance.

Teammate and co-worker, Dave Castle’s fervent enthusiasm, was evident with some very notable acrobatic saves. The term “eat dirt” never carried so much meaning!

Oneupweb administrative director, Patty Wirtz, kept vigilant score on the sidelines as she unflinchingly debated questionable calls with the umpires and Wehr’s eight-year-old son Collin, performed feats of greatness as batboy.

The Oneupweb team looks forward to another great softball season next year with even tougher competition and a steadfast commitment to being the best.
